BACKGROUND
With continued breakthroughs in lighter and more powerful batteries and inexpensive and powerful electric motors, the R/C indoor and Park flying electric revolution remains strong.
Indoor flying, especially in the winter, is the fastest growing segment of our hobby. Indoor flying at recreation centers, golf domes, etc. have sprung up virtually all over the country.
Outdoor park flying is also gaining momentum due to convenience and low cost.
Most of the airplanes available today that are suitable for indoor and park flying are not very aerobatic. Fueled by the 3D craze, pilots have resorted to designing their own aerobatic and 3D airplanes. While a lot of fun to do, this process requires trial and error, is time consuming, and sometimes expensive.
Foamy Flyers has already done the trial and error for you so you can get into the air quickly, at the least possible cost.
Although our airplanes are exceptional aerobatic Flyers, all of our airplanes have been designed to be as light as possible to keep the total costs to an absolute minimum.
Weight requires more power, which requires more motor, which requires a bigger speed control and a bigger battery, which costs more money! We have designed our airplanes around inexpensive GWS brushed and Brushless motors as well as the brushless plug-in replacement for GWS single's, the Fieago!
